He met Katara during her visit to Tohjo Falls while she was letting Arnook and Nikta out to stretch their legs. His first reaction to seeing Arnook was to challenge him to a battle, but because of his type advantage and Arnook’s refusal to listen to Katara in battle the Riolu was taken by surprise and quickly overcome. It was Katara’s and Nikta’s teamwork that won the battle and made Suluk decide he wanted to be a part of her team. True to his nature he’s very docile and also incredibly loyal. Despite Katara’s lack of badges he seems to respect her wisdom and the compassion she has for every member of her team, even the unruly ones. His obedience in battle has earned him a permanent spot on Katara’s roster. » ot. katara » misc. n/a
